It's a proven fact. Clutter and disorganization has become a serious problem. Some call it "chronic disorganization" and others call it, simply, being a packrat.

But the thing is...it's not your fault.

See, our parents never had to deal with everything we have today.

Most people own too much stuff...and have too little time to deal with it.

We get thousands of pieces of mail...bills and paper piling up while we sleep.
Clothes we have trouble saying goodbye too...and boxes of stuff we got as gifts, all creating clutter, stealing the space right from under our feet.

And it doesn't matter what size house, condo, or apartment you have...you might never feel like you have enough room to store all this "stuff."

Well, here is where we come in. We are experts in organizing and re-decorating if it is neccesary. Fernanda Sullivan is the owner of Pretty in Pink Maids and she personally handles the de-clutting and organizing. Her background is in architecture so from that you can have an idea of her pontential in managing and organizing spaces.

Simple and economic solution for a small storage room outside of the house. Now they can go inside and get what they need.
Total cost : 7 long nails and 1 1x2" piece of wood. All the material was found in the house/garage.

The Process

First things first!
Together we will have a look at the area in question and discuss what you hope to achieve - for instance, improved storage for a special collection or finding a new home for toys your children have outgrown. Maybe you're about to move house or simply want to free up some space.

De-Cluttering
We prefer to work with you, the client, at all times. However, if you wish to get on with something else, then I can of course work by myself. Please remember though, that I will need your input at some point, because only you can decide the ultimate fate of your clutter.

As we go through your belongings together we will decide which items will stay and which are to go. The items will be categorised as we go along so that at the end of the process it is clear what is going where. Wherever possible the aim is to recycle, rather than simply consigning things to the bin.

At the end of the process your room will be clutter free and you will have a clear idea of how to deal with all the items that have been removed.

Please note that there might be a need to provide things for storage. These are supplied by the customer not part of the service.

Storage solutions
Ultimately you will end up with just those items you have decided to keep. I will offer practical solutions on the best way to store your treasured belongings, enabling you to find what you want - when you want it!


Follow-up appointments
Having experienced the Pretty in Pink Maids solution to your clutter problem, you may have concerns about keeping the area tidy. A regular or follow up appointment is the answer. One month after your de-cluttering session you will receive a free follow-up telephone appointment. This is an ideal opportunity to discuss any problems you may have with clutter that just won't go away! Should you need another visit then this can be quoted according to your requirements.

This gives us the opportunity to explain how we can help you tackle your clutter in a way that suits you. Every client is different; there is no 'one size fits all' in the world of de-cluttering.

There is no need to feel embarrassed; your clutter certainly won't be the worst I've seen! Sorting through personal possessions can of course be emotionally challenging. Organized Chaos provides encouragement and sensitive support throughout the process, making it virtually painless and ultimately rewarding.

We charge an hourly rate of $25. You can either book a set number of hours, or for the de-cluttering of a specific area the arrangement can be more flexible. Generally speaking, an average room will take between four and five hours to de-clutter so a rough idea of cost would be between $1O0 and $125. However, please bear in mind that not all rooms are average and clutter comes in many shapes and forms!
